This is the 2nd season Colin Kaepernick has been banned from the NFL since taking his knee and protesting police brutality in the United States.
Last season we called for a #NoKaepernickNoNFL ban.
This season — to put the “distorted” message back on track — we say #WhyWeKneel.
WE PARTNERED UP WITH THE LAWYERS COMMITTEE FOR CIVIL RIGHTS UNDER LAW, which produced 11 graphics you can share on social media, email, etc. that shows FACTS on why we ALL took a knee in support of Colin Kaepernick. I find it regrettable that the NFL has some how attracted this sort of ‘fan’.
It’s football people – nothing else. I love it. This is a shame to the sport. Football is not about patriotism – it’s about football. Celebrities and prominent sports figures use their notoriety to champion causes all the time. Colin Karpernick is no different.
