NATION TIME:

In March 1972, Black Nationalists and Black Elected Officials put aside their differences and held a convention to discuss the National Black Agenda. Held in Gary, Indiana.

This was the first mass gathering of Black people to advance their rights since the National Negros Congress meetings of the 1930s.

What happens when you try to bring people with different ideas together.

The agenda was published on Malcolm X’s birthday. Here is part of that agenda.
